We all love that feeling of slipping on a pair of Nomad Sunnies – pure bliss! To keep that feeling going strong, it's important to take good care of your sunglasses. If you don’t, even the best shades can lose their charm and start to spoil your day.
But fear not! Taking care of your Nomads is super easy. Here’s a quick guide to ensure your sunglasses stay in great shape for all your adventures.
Follow these simple steps, and your Nomad Shades will continue to look and feel fantastic, without any hassle.
When your sunglasses arrive, give them a good once-over. If you spot any scratches or damage, let us know ASAP using our contact form here. While we pack everything with care and have a strict quality control process, delivery mishaps can happen! You have 48 hours to report any delivery issues.
Your Nomads can totally get wet, but just because they can doesn’t mean they should all the time! If your shades take a dip in salt water or a swimming pool, rinse them with fresh water as soon as possible. Salt water & Chlorine is super corrosive and can harm both the lens and frame. Even though some of our products have an anti-salt water coating, fresh water rinses are always a good idea. Same goes for Chlorine! Our lenses contain a mirrored coating which provides the bright colour, failure to comply with the above instructions could result in damage occuring to the mirrored coating. Please note, all of our lenses are created from a black or brown base with a mirrored coating applied to give the bright colour appearance.
Store your sunglasses in the protective bag we’ve provided. This bag is also perfect for gently cleaning the lenses.
• DO blow away sand, dust or debris from your lenses prior to cleaning. Small particles could scratch the lenses if rubbed with a cloth.
• DO use the supplied protective bag or a microfiber cloth to clean your lenses.
• DON'T use window or glass cleaner on the lenses – they’re not designed for sunglasses and could cause damage.
•DON'T use a towel to clean your lenses. Stick to the protective bag or a microfiber cloth for the best results.
